Years of experience — both successes and failures — have shaped a unique blend of skills and talents. Our small team brings together specialists from different fields of art and technology, allowing us to offer exquisite fine‑art products crafted with taste, precision, and genuine passion.

Our current studio for reproducing paintings and icons is a project of Art 4 Future Ltd., founded by Kostadin Kutryanov — an engineer and artist with extensive experience in industrial and cosmetic design, and many years as a creative director in advertising and printing companies. The diverse technical and artistic challenges of the printing industry led to the creation of the Digital Oil technology — a process refined over more than 12 years, combining classical and modern digital printing techniques, chemical processes, robotics, and mechanics. The result is a precise system for faithfully interpreting artworks of any genre or style.

Among the many materials we experimented with, stone proved to be exceptionally expressive and full of character. A piece of nature — timeless by essence — it brings warmth and presence to the image printed on it. Icons created on stone absorb its energy and come to life. To ensure full compliance with ancient iconographic traditions, we welcomed into our team a certified master iconographer: Desislava Zaharieva, a representative of the Tarnovo school, who believes that creating an icon is a sacred act, not just a craft. An icon is made personally and individually for its commissioner. Period.

But how would all this beauty reach you if there was no one to present it properly? That is the role of our IT specialist, Georgi Hristov. With broad experience in all key positions within a large‑format print studio, he understands the needs of the team perfectly. He is also an avid mushroom hunter — even when he goes fishing, he returns with mushrooms. The fact that he survives season after season suggests he might actually know a few species without his glasses.

What Is the Digital Oil Technology?

Digital Oil is a combination of digital and manual techniques that allow the reproduction of paintings with unprecedented accuracy and speed, at a cost close to standard printing. The results are vibrant, richly textured artworks that come remarkably close to the feel of an original painting.

Advantages:

• Precise relief replication when a 3D scan is available
• Freedom to incorporate various texturing materials
• Possibility to create original author’s works
• Flexible scaling of both relief and image size
• Water‑resistant — suitable for bathroom art
• Ability to produce large‑format reproductions

Disadvantages:

• Technically complex
• Labor‑intensive and time‑consuming
• The final result depends partly on the artist’s skill
• Expensive materials and machinery
• The set of techniques we have refined over more than 12 years is extremely diverse, combining traditional methods with the achievements of the digital revolution. The choice of technique depends on the specific artwork and its edition.

The result is a painting with real, volumetric texture (not transparent gel used in so‑called “manual relief”). The technology also allows the application of real materials — organic textures such as sand, cotton, hemp fibers, crystals, slag metal, gold or silver accents. This creates unique textured artworks that allow the artist to express their vision in author’s editions that are, in essence, new versions of the original piece.
