ROSSA Ltd. is established in 1989 by a group of leading Bulgarian companies and institutions, based in Sofia, and the Austrian company IGM ROBOTERSYSTEME AG, based in Wiener Neudorf, Austria. The group of local partners comprises METAL STRUCTURES CO. Ltd., the BULGARIAN INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION, TECHNOIMPORTEXPORT AG, three research institutes, formerly belonging to the Industrial Cybernetics and Robotics Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and a group of smaller manufacturing companies and workshops. All these were the core of the former ISAPLAN ASSOCIATION, the pioneer that developed the unique idea of planetary wire feeding and manufactured the first semi-automatic welding machines of the ISAPLAN family. So we can say our experience dates back as far as some 30 years ago. During that period our products found their place in markets in England, Germany, Sweden, France, Spain, Canada, the Far East and other countries. Now we are still the leader in the manufacturing of planetary wire feeding machines. But not only this. Our efforts and experience are focused on: - Research and Development - Design - Manufacturing - Trade - Business representation These activies spread on everything which concerns arc welding and pasma cutting systems, welding robots, control circuits, electronic control systems, ect. Another important feature of our business of late is that we successfully engage in CUSTOM MANUFACTURING of various kinds of machinery and parts - from small numbers to large series of different machine parts, finished components, assemblies, ect. This we do on the basis of separate contacts with our customers and under their own desigh and specification. We have large manufacturing capacity due to our extensive machine park, which consists of various CNC and universal machine tools and equipment. Our machines and equipment are listed further in this report for those interested in actual details. Our customers are companies from Germany, Switzerland, France and some other European countries. ROSSA Ltd. has its head office and production facilities conveniently situated at some fifteen kilometers (about ten miles) from the city center. We have personnel of 57 qualified employees, among them experienced mechanical, electrical and electronic engineers and skilled machine operators. MIG/MAG WELDING MACHINES A range of ROSSA MIG/MAG welding machines with built-in planetary or conventional wire feeders and fan cooled and thermal-protected power units. The machines find their application in various branches of industry where welding of light-and medium-weight structures of steel, stainless steel and aluminum is required and can also be used in e.g. auto repair workshops, etc. All machines feature spot and intermittent welding as well, while PENTO 180 along with its MIG/MAG function can be used as a normal stick electrode or resistance welding machine and features car battery charging and engine starting as additional functions. PLASMA CUTTING MACHINES The PCS 30 and PCS 100 automatic HF arc starting plasma cutting machines are the latest products of ROSSA Ltd. They are intended for rapid and precise cutting of all kinds of metals, including stainless and high-alloy steels, aluminum and aluminum alloys. The cutting depth is up to 30 mm with minimum thermal effect on the metal adjacent to the cut. These machines are simple to operate, do not require special operator's skill and can be easily adapted to work with manipulators or robots. Suitable for all kinds of auto-repairs, industrial repairs, manufacturing of small seagoing vessels, assembling, etc. ISAPLAN PLANETARY WIRE FEEDERS The ISAPLAN planetary wire feeders of ROSSA Ltd. Are unique in their capability of feeding steel, aluminum and flux-cored electrodes to distances of up to 4,5 m. The wire diameter can vary from 0,6 to 2,0 mm for St and from 1,0 to 2,4 for Al at welding current rate of 500 A. These wonderful machines are earmarked for exacting customers and welders who appreciate excellent performance. The various types cover almost all practical requirements for direct coupling to power sources for MIG/MAG welding and are available with KURT-HAUFE or BINZEL connectors. ISAMODUL PLANETARY WIRE FEEDERS The unique ISAMODUL push-pull wire feeding system has been developed on the original principle of interaction between two motor-heads. The planetary head of the pulling module serves the purpose of a sensor of mechanical resistance inside the welding cable and interacts with the pushing module motor by means of a special electronic control system. The push-pull principle allows for feeding wire electrodes of varied diameters to distances up to 16 m. at welding current rate of 300 A. POWER SOURCES Industrial MIG/MAG power sources to be used with an additional planetary or conventional wire feeder. Intended for heavy-duty work on steel, stainless steel and aluminum structures and use in shipbuilding, automotive industry, electric truck manufacturing, machinebuilding, repair works, etc. The G500/VC/S unit features stick electrode and TIG welding as additional functions.
