Since 2015, Kovachev Press Ltd. has been the legal successor of ET “Alexander Kovachev” – a printing house, publishing house and advertising studio with over 20 years of experience in the printing industry.

Company History

The company ET "Alexander Kovachev" was founded in 1992 in the city of Silistra, starting as a copy center and becoming a leading one in the region. After several years, it shifted its development entirely toward printing services, purchasing its first printing machine Dominant 714 along with a bookbinding cutter, and began producing stationery, books, posters and more. Soon, the increased market demands required expanding capabilities and acquiring the necessary equipment for high-quality offset printing and all finishing operations. The company began producing labels for the canning and brewing industries.

In 2002, a new printing facility with over 700 sq.m. of built-up area was opened. Gradually, Kovachev Printing House gained popularity and attracted clients not only from Silistra and the region but from all of Northeastern Bulgaria.
Since 1995, the company has been registered as “Kovachev Publishing”. In 2002, we created our own book series “Library ‘Borders’”.

Since 2005, the printing house has been working with companies from the EU, advertising agencies, publishers and manufacturers in the United Kingdom, France, Austria and Romania.

In recent years, demand has increased for smaller print runs, shorter deadlines and lower prices. For this reason, in 2011 Kovachev Printing House purchased a digital offset machine Konica Minolta bizhub c6500.
