“Rakovina” Kindergarten In this seaside town there’s a happy kindergarten. All year long you can hear songs and laughter there. Our kindergarten is called "Rakovina". "Hristo Botev" str. 48, Bourgas And just like the little seashell shelters and nourishes the life within it, our team of high qualified teachers at "Rakovina" kindergarten brings up and educates its 194 children (at the age of 3-8 years) with a lot of warmth, love and kindness.      About “Rakovina” Kindergarten With its rich and cozy necessary equipment the kindergarten is a wonderful home for our children. We’ve created conditions so that every child has a perfect childhood, equal chances, emotional welfare and purposeful preschool education for successful school performance. The educative work is consistent with the governmental educational regulations regarding preschool education and preparation for school. It is accomplished by educational directions – mathematics, Bulgarian language and literature, knowledge of the social and natural world, music. Kids gladly participate in celebrations and entertainments – Christmas, Baba Marta holiday (1st March); Easter; special festivities. Forming the ecological culture and habits of the children is one of the main accents in our work at the kindergarten. It is winner of the "Green Flag" prize by the "Eco schools" program. It is also a participant and host of educational visit by foreign experts in the educational matters of "Ecological education as part of the education for stable development" – part of the European program "Lifelong Learning". There are a lot of prestigious recognitions and diplomas for our achievements – awarded prizes at the National children’s song competition "Sladkopoyna Chuchuliga"; prizes for achievements at children’s drawing competitions; Diploma for long-term cooperation with the District Police Department in Bourgas city. As of September 2010 our kindergarten will open doors for two more children groups at the new built extension to the building.      Extracurricular activities : ENGLISH SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN In our English school your children will listen, study, sing, play, draw, put together puzzles, play characters and take part in different situations in suitable for them English language.
