Architectural tensile membranes

Architectural membranes stand at the border between art and science. Unlike conventional construction, when covering large areas, architectural membranes rely on their double curvature and pre‑tensioning to withstand external loads such as wind and snow. This makes the supporting structure extremely lightweight and very cost‑effective.

Awnings, Canopies

Awnings (canopies) are suitable both for shade and for advertising space. They can be mounted on a building or on a stand. When two units are mounted on a metal stand, a larger area can be covered. Awnings withstand light weather conditions but are not suitable for snow loads and strong winds.

Wind‑protection, crystal curtains

Wind‑protection (wind‑resistant) curtains are suitable for shielding against bad weather during autumn and winter — wind, rain and snow. They are made of transparent crystal material with a thickness of 800 microns and edged with colored PVC. They close manually with a locking mechanism. Lifting is manual and the rolled‑up curtain is secured with buckles. A roller mechanism can be installed for raising and lowering the curtain using a reducer and crank or a motor with automatic control via switch or remote.

Wind‑protection curtains for cattle farms

Providing comfort and protection for animals by installing wind‑protection curtains with transparent mesh type 8860. This mesh is produced by the German company Mehler and is specialized for cattle farms because it is a chemically resistant polyester fabric with PVC coating. The systems are equipped with a roller mechanism for manual lifting and lowering of the window (door) using a reducer and crank.

Covers for structures, umbrellas and pergolas

Karmen 2000 manufactures covers for shade structures based on a sample provided by the client. Covers can be made from vinyl, acrylic and polyester with hydrophobic coating. The attachment of the fabric to the structures is done using grommets and ropes. Covers are removed during the winter season.
If you want to refresh your garden umbrellas, we can remake them based on your old cover.
If you have an existing metal or wooden structure, we can offer a pergola‑type cover made of acrylic or polyester.

Vertical and horizontal blinds

Vertical blinds are made of high‑quality textile.
Horizontal blinds are made of aluminum slats.
Blinds provide effective sun protection, creating a sense of comfort and elegance. The wide choice of patterns and colors allows you to combine sun protection and privacy while enhancing the design of your home.
