Bureau for Technical Development Ltd. was founded in 2002, and in 2003 the company became an official trading partner of Bosch Rexroth for Bulgaria.
In 2007 the company became the main trading partner of Bosch Rexroth, taking over the functions of the existing representative office. This recognition reflects the professionalism of the team and the trust that a global leader such as Bosch Rexroth places in the company in Bulgaria.
In 2013 the company was certified and became the Official Service Center for Bosch Rexroth in Bulgaria, ensuring that all service activities follow the highest manufacturer standards, using original spare parts and certified procedures.
Since 2014 the company has held an ISO 9001:2008 quality management certificate, confirming that all processes – from consulting and design to delivery, service and training – follow strict rules, traceability and continuous control.
In the same year the company became a member of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, strengthening its position as a reliable partner for the industry and connecting it to a wide network of international companies and experts.

Service Activities
The reliability and longevity of hydraulic systems depend heavily on the condition of the working fluids. Studies show that 80–90% of failures are caused by oil contamination. For this reason, the company places strong emphasis on monitoring, analysis and purification of hydraulic and lubrication oils, as well as on proper operation and maintenance of systems.
- Design of new hydraulic power units – from sketches and 3D models to complete manufacturing. All operating parameters, environmental conditions, safety requirements and energy efficiency factors are considered to deliver a ready-to-integrate solution.
- Renovation of hydraulic power units – replacement of outdated components, optimization of hydraulic circuits, implementation of modern valves, pumps and control systems to extend equipment life and improve reliability.
- Scheduled and emergency repair of axial-piston and radial-piston pumps and motors in the Sofia service base. All repaired units are tested and adjusted on a specialized test bench simulating real operating conditions. Only original Bosch Rexroth parts are used.
- Repair of proportional technology in Germany with a 12‑month warranty. This includes complex electrohydraulic components requiring specialized equipment and expertise.
- 100% original spare parts used in all repairs – pumps, motors, valves, seals and other components ensuring long-term reliability.
- Spare parts available in stock – key components and consumables are maintained in inventory to ensure fast response and minimal downtime.
- Oil condition analysis in hydraulic systems – detection of solid particles, water content and overall oil condition according to ISO 4406:1999, NAS1638 – 01/1964 and SAE AS 4059:D standards.
- Oil purification – rental of a filtration station equipped with sequential filters meeting the highest cleanliness requirements. Online monitoring ensures precise control of contamination levels. The station is also suitable for filling machines with new oil while guaranteeing required cleanliness.
- Comprehensive diagnostics of industrial and mobile hydraulic systems – identifying faults, dismantling, assembly, adjustment and commissioning of repaired components. Diagnostics include pressure, flow and temperature measurements and system behavior analysis.
- Consultations on design, maintenance and proper operation of hydraulic systems to achieve optimal durability and reliability. Experts assist with oil selection, filtration strategies and preventive maintenance planning.
