NATIONAL INSTALLATION UNION

National Installation Union (NIU) is branch association of companies and specialists, working in the following fields: heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigerating equipment, gas and water supply, electrical engineering and automation. The members of the Union are concerned with designing activity, consultancy, assembly and installation, production, import and distribution of equipment and materials. The Union was founded in April 1995 in Plovdiv as a non-profit organization (Installation Chamber). The Head Office is at No.25 ‘Ivan Vazov’ street, Plovdiv, and there are Regional Installation Unions, branches of National Installation Union in the regional centers of Bourgas, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Montana, Plovdiv, Ruse, Sliven and Sofia. The National Installation Union enjoys and maintains good contacts with state and municipal authorities and institutions, with international organizations working in the field of installation equipment, with other national and regional business organizations and professional associations. MAIN OBJECTIVE OF NATIONAL INSTALLATION UNION: - To contribute to the development of installation equipment in Bulgaria; - To represent the interests of its members - To represent its members before the public and the other institutions - To contribute to the improvement of the professional qualification and training of the specialists in installation equipment MAIN ACTIVITIES OF NATIONAL INSTALLATION UNION: - Maintains contacts with state and municipal authorities and institutions - Maintains contacts with similar organizations in the country and abroad to the benefit of its members - Presents to the public the progress and advances in the field of installation equipment through various initiatives - Participates, organizes and assists in the organization of meetings, seminars, workshops, conventions, exhibitions, fairs and other forums at which the latest achievements in the field of installations are presented - Provides its members with consultancy and advice on professional, legal and economic issues - Provides its members with information on issues of interest to them - Provides assistance in the organization of different forms of training in the country and abroad for improving the qualification of specialists in installation equipment, etc. Since 2003 the Union has been publishing a science and technology magazine, entitled ‘Installations’, in which articles by both Bulgarian and foreign authors are published. We have a Centre for Professional Training and Qualification of Specialists in Installation Equipment.
