The "AMKO" company has been manufacturing wooden houses for ten years. We produce one-story and two-story wooden houses and bungalows on client's request. The prefabricated homes and villas are already a market hit in Belgium and Turkey. Wooden houses are suitable for seismic, hazardous areas, as well as for parcels near the sea or mountains. The "AMKO - MEBEL" company was founded and registered in 1989 in Shumen, as a general partnership with business activity manufacture of houses from scotch fir, kithen and office furnishing, doors, windows of natural wood, details for the furniture industry, which we have exported in Belgium and Turkey. Chairman of the company is Dimitar Kolev Dimitrov with over 30 years of experience in wood procession. We manufacture furniture and woodwork only on commission, based on the client's request or photos in furniture magazines. Currently we mainly satisfy the needs of the local and the foreign market. We wish to have collaboration and contacts for joint manufacture in the country as well as abroad. Products Prefabricated Houses I. Can they get the house of their dreams? With this technology are manufactured houses and buildings with different architecture, dispositions and functions. Restrictions basically come down to the fact that skyscrapers cannot be built. In Bulgaria houses are built on up to two stories, but there are already projects for three-story buildings as well. II. Are there specific requierments for the terrain? The answer is NO - with these structures you can build it anywhere that it is not explicitly forbidden - this type of building structure is 7 to 9 times lighter than traditional construction. III. Heat and sound isolation. This is a construction system that has the best statistics in this area, so we will cover this more thoroughly. Only with this method of construction can the common in developed countries low energy and passive houses be built. A low energy building is one that, considering the different climat conditions in Europe, needs 30 to 70 kW/h/m2 energy for heating or cooling for a year. This equals to 3 to 7 l. liquid fuel or 3 to 7 m3 natural gas. Prefurbished wooden houses have covered this standart for a long time. Under that term are grouped doors made of wood from deciduous and coniferous trees. Some manufacturers work with deciduous wood (beech, oak, walnut) and others like us work with coniferous wood (scotch fir). Coniferous wood is softer, easier to process and cheaper. Deciduous wood is not only 2-3 times more expensive, it is harder to processs as well. That is also why the price of the final product is 1 to 3 in favor of the deciduous wood. What models do we offer? Natural doors are made out of vertical and horizontal friezes, between which are placed wooden panels. The form is unrestricted, but if you take advice always talk to the manufacturers. There are some basic rules, which you should consider, when you want to choose a strong door. MDF Doors What is MDF? MDF are boards made of wooden fibres, which are treated with a mixture of glue and is the then ready substance is pressed, during which different in form patterns appear. One side can be smooth or textured, which resembles the structure of wood. The other side has a rough surface, so that it has a better ability to stick. The application for this is mainly for the manufacture of interior doors. When wet the board slightly widens, which makes it suitable for moisterous rooms. Some firms have plywood technology, but we don't, so doors are usually only varnished. What models do we offer?   The MDF doors are mainly seven models. If the client wishes every door can be glazed and the glazed part can be only the concaved parts of the panels. The glassholders are made of natural wood or of MDF.
