COLORITALIA EAST EUROPE EAD was founded in 2007 as a representative office of the COLORITALIA (Italy) in Bulgaria. COLORITALIA, was established in 1997. Since the foundation, COLORITALIA has been BASF’s exclusive dealer for the Italian market and for the main countries of the Mediterranean area, trading colorants and additives for the Ceramic, Glass and related businesses. Along the following years, other major key-markets were achieved, always geographically located in the Mediterranean. In 2000, the production of third-fire decoration pigments set about, of under the BASF’s licence and know-how. Since 2003, the COLORITALIA enriched the business asset with to a new activity, trading colorants for the plastics industry: the company become the Italian sole dealer of the BASF’s product range for this field. Coloritalia went on developing and industrialising its own range of liquid pigments for the mass-colouration of thermoplastic polymers. The company’s R&D activity is committed to seek and optimize products and the related manufacturing methods; technological transfer projects are at the base of fruitful partnerships with Universities and Technical Institutes. The experienced chemists employed by the company are also engaged in controlling the quality of all the incoming raw materials and all the living end-products.
