Ceramic coatings are considered its successor, offering improved performance, applications and characteristics. Used as non‑stick coatings for pans, pots and other kitchen equipment. PTFE has extremely low chemical reactivity and is used in containers and pipes for storing highly reactive chemicals. It has excellent electrical properties, including at microwave frequencies, making it suitable for cable insulation, connectors and more.
