COMPARATIVE MACROSCOPIC AND CT-ANGIOGRAPHIC STUDY OF VARIATIONS OF THE CIRCLE OF WILLIS in relation to cerebral protection in aortic surgery – funded under Grant Program 2011, MU-Sofia, Contract No. 19/26.07.2011 – Project 20. 3. Prof. Alexandrov performs examinations of individuals in connection with domestic and criminal physical assaults (injuries from beatings, traffic accidents, animal bites, rape, etc.) and issues official documentation required for legal proceedings: 1. Identification of traumatic injuries, determining their mechanism and time of occurrence; 2. Determining the medico-biological characteristics of injuries according to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Bulgaria; 3. Determining sexual status (virginity); 4. Examinations in cases of sexual crimes: a) molestation; b) rape; c) homosexuality with collection of necessary materials for further examination – material evidence. 5. Forensic examinations by order of pre-trial and court authorities to determine morphological substrate, medico-biological qualification, mechanism and timing of injuries; 6. Photography and preparation of photo documentation of injuries according to forensic photography standards; 7. Consultations related to forensic medical cases; 8.
