Everything began in the distant year 1912 in a small village in the mountainous region of Bregenzerwald, with the appearance of the first straw-hat factory in the Vorarlberg area.

The people of Bregenzerwald have always followed the principle: “If you want to do something – do it now, or don’t do it at all!”

This is how the philosophy of the HAT SHOP brand was born. Even then, they used materials and raw resources existing in nature. One hundred years later, the tradition remains, as natural materials intertwine with innovative processing methods and modern, unique design.

Today HAT SHOP and CAPO BG continue this story in a modern urban environment – with collections that combine classic European hat-making tradition and current fashion trends. The brand is recognizable for its precision to detail, careful selection of fabrics, yarns and accessories, as well as the sense of comfort that every hat brings.
