D-r Desislava Geordzheva
Dr. Desislava Georgieva graduated in dentistry in 1989 from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Plovdiv. Until 2006 she was a lecturer in the Department of Endodontics at the same institution.
In 1999 she obtained a specialty in “Therapeutic Dentistry”. In 2004 she became a specialist in “Operative Dentistry and Endodontics”, and in 2005 she acquired a specialty in “General Dentistry”.
Dr. Georgieva is a member of the Bulgarian Endodontic Society. She has a strong interest in endodontics and aesthetic dentistry, including prosthetics.
She works in focal diagnostics, laser therapy, electrotherapy and ozone therapy.
Since 2006 Dr. Georgieva has been the Head of the Dental Department at “Medicus Alpha” Clinic, Plovdiv. “Medicus Alpha” is the only clinic in Southern Bulgaria where full anesthesia is used in dental practice.
Dr. Georgieva supports the program for early diagnosis of oral cancer and actively participates in it together with her team.
