" Avius " Ltd. was established in 1990 . with the exclusive purpose - purchasing and processing of cherries in alcohol for Ferrero Group main chocolate -" Mon Ch?ri ". Every year ''Avius'' buys about 5,000 tons of fresh cherries mainly from Bulgaria and Greece and if necessary from Turkey. The cherries are processed primary in own factory/ removing stalks, cleaning of fruits and calibration / With 1500-2000 tons cherries in alkohol per year delivery to Ferrero Group, Avius -2003 Ltd. is a major supplier . The remaining quantities of cherries -3000t per year are preserved in SO2 for the needs of the confectionary industry, further calibrated , cleaned , with or wthout stalks or pitted according to customer requirements . Since 2002 the company has refrigeration facilities , where besides the above mentioned two main products undergo major processing and freezing of cherries and sour cherries . Since the beginning of 2015 ,"Avius" Ltd. has a new second factory for processsing frozen fruits and vegetables and refrigeration storing area . For the crop 2015 we have realised production over 1000 tonnes of fruits / sour cherries , cherries, raspberries , strawberries, aronia , blackberries, rose leef / and 1000 tons of vegetables / carrots, broccoli , cauliflower , peppers / . The company has two IQF tunnels- spiral band and produced by Frigoskandiya . Production is mainly for export to the European Union and Bulgaria.
