About us:
Nitex EOOD was founded in 1993 by Mr. Nikolay Todorov as a family company and started its activity with the production of elastic tapes for the textile industry. At the beginning the equipment was rented, in a non-working small factory for production of zipper tape.
In 1997, the building was purchased by Nitex EOOD and the expansion and modernization of the company began.
New production areas were built and various types of high-performance machines and technologies were put into operation for the production of a wide range of elastic band, tapes, ribbons and cords.
At the present, the technical equipment of the company consists of high speed needle looms and crochet knitting machines, jacquard needle looms, various types of cord production machines, automatic cutting and edging machines for shoelaces, automatic ultrasonic cutting and welding machines. Through our full-color digital thermal transfer, we can give an individual and unique design to already produced tapes and elastics according to customer requirements (Pantone / CMYK).

We use a wide range of raw materials to manufacture the articles at NITEX EOOD:
- natural yarns: cotton, linen, viscose;
- synthetic yarns: polyester, polypropylene, polyamide, High Tenacity polyamide and polyester, monofilament polyester and polyamide, metallized yarns;
- elastic threads: rubber thread, spandex, LYCRA.
For the production of our elastic bands, ribbons and cords, we use alredy dyed yarns in accordance with customer requirements.
For our more than 30 years of experience in the production of elastic bands, ribbons and cords, we have developed more than 30,000 kinds of different items, which are widely used in the production of home textiles, garments, leisure and sports wear, working wear and personal protective equipment, medical items, technical items and packaging.
Our articles are certified according to the requirements of OEKO-TEX Class®1, which is a guarantee of their harmlessness to the human body. In order to satisfy the needs of our customers to the maximum extent, the company implifies ISO 9001:2015 quality managenet system.
