Farm Viel was specified and recognized as Game rising by NVMS Rousse town under registration number: BG70510211. We are specialized in breeding and raising pheasants from the breed Phasianus Colchicus mongolicus Brandt. Requested beforehand however, we are able to breed other game type poultry (in number up to 50 000). We offer: І. Living pheasant: - 4 to 7 days old pheasants - 30 days old pheasants - 60 days old pheasants - 90 days old pheasants (0.9 - 1.1 kg) - 120 days old pheasants (1.1 - 1.3 kg) ІІ. Frozen meat: - grill type 0.7 - 0.9 kg - portions fillet, legs, wings, offal-preordered by the client - specially prepared pheasant called ‘the pheasant of the hunter’ (quills left, but cleaned and frozen) - preordered by the client - marinated in a special souse and smoked pheasants - preordered by the client With only 10 employees we managed to come out with 25 000 pheasants for FY2008. Our method is: closed cycle - from laying the eggs through incubating to growing pheasants. Feeding and giving water to the birds is fully automated. Pheasants are fed with bio forage (own, ecologically clean output) produced within the premises mainly for our own needs. We provide 24/7 sanitary and veterinary control. We are independent structure and our aim is to provoke Bulgarian and world wide market’s interest to game rising in ecologically clean environment. We are passionate to give birth to a tradition in consuming this type of meat as breeding game is passion and sport. Pheasant’s mead is the food of the kings, it is a culinary consummation.
