“LOT INS” Ltd. was established in 2001. Since its creation, it has been operating in the field of occupational health and safety.

The company includes an Accredited Inspection Body, according to BDS EN ISO/IEC 17020:2005, with an Accreditation Certificate reissued by the Executive Agency “Bulgarian Accreditation Service” No. 134/21.07.2008.

Through its quality system, the management of the Inspection Body focuses on the goals of fast and high‑quality service for its clients.

The Type C Inspection Body at “LOT INS” Ltd. has highly trained and qualified specialists in the field of physical and chemical environmental factors, electrical safety and physical workload, as well as modern equipment for monitoring all parameters of the working and living environment, electrical safety and physiological control.

A registered Occupational Health Service with Certificate No. 016-1/01.04.2008 is also part of “LOT INS” Ltd.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE

The Occupational Health Service registered at “LOT INS” Ltd. provides the following services:

Preparation of opinions related to existing and newly issued regulations and consulting employers on their application;
Audit of documentation related to protection from occupational risks;
Preparation of summary analyses of preventive medical examinations;
Analysis of temporary and permanent incapacity indicators and their relation to workplace factors;
Screening of employees subject to periodic medical examinations and determining the specialist team according to workplace factors;
Preparation and maintenance of up‑to‑date health records for employees;
Issuing conclusions on employees’ fitness to perform specific work;
Organizing and participating in training programs:
- Initial and annual training of KUT/GUT members;
- Training of OHS officers;
- Training of management personnel and instructors;
- Training for qualification groups in electrical safety up to and above 1000 V;
- Training on safe operation and technical supervision of lifting equipment and safe working conditions during loading/unloading activities;
- Training on fire and emergency safety rules;
- Training on first aid, self‑help and mutual aid;
Consulting and supporting the work of OHS committees and groups;
