In the test work the laboratory uses only standardized test methods included in more than 120 international standards. With these capabilities the laboratory provides laboratory tests of over 80% of the features / indexes/ of the textile materials, textile fabrics and ready garments. The trend is for its capacity to be expanded.

The test laboratory has at its disposal modern testing equipment and auxiliary equipment. The technical tools are of the latest generation of technology and manufacturing capabilities of the world’s leading specialized companies (SDL Atlas - England; JASCO CORPORATION-Switzerland; DATACOLOR INC - USA; CECIL INSTRUMENTS LTD - UK; WTW GmbH Germany; ZWEIGLE, CmbH, Germany; TEXTEST, INSTRUMENTS, AG-Switzerland; "BINDER" Germany; IKA-Germany, etc.)

THE LABORATORY HAS AT ITS DISPOSAL THE ONLY APPARATUSES IN BULGARIA FOR SETTING OF:

• Resistance to light and environment conditions by xenon arc lamp / XENOTEST ® 150 S +, SDL Atlas /
• Ignition and Flammability / HIRLEY FLAMMABILITY TESTER, M233A / B, SDL Atlas /
• Water-repellency of fabrics by spraying a Bundesmann test / M230/BBUNDESMANN WATER REPELLENCY TESTER /
• Physiological characteristics of textiles. Measurement of heat resistance and paropreminavane at constant speed (hot plate test) SWEATING GUARDED HOTPLATE, M259B
• Fluctuations of the mass of yarns, rovings and bands / USTER ® Tester 3 /
• Tensile testing of fibers, yarns and technical yarns / USTER TENSORAPID /

The work in the laboratory answers the extremely high requirements for quality and independence as regards the external stakeholders in conducting of the tests

• Взаимоотношенията с клиенти се извършват от Ръководителя на лабораторията или от упълномощен от Ръководителя представител.
• Customer Relationship is performed by the Laboratory Manager or by an authorized by him representative.
• Each client may send to the TL oral or written inquiries about the possibilities for the realization of a future order. The possibilities for the execution of the order are discussed in the presence of the client. If there are differences regarding the requirements of the contracting authority these will be specified before the execution of the contract has started. In the enforceability of the contract is completed an Application will be filled in, and in it will be stated the client's requirements, the methods and the timetables for implementation.
• When it is impossible to execute the contract the contracting authority shall be informed in written or oral form about it.
• If in the process of the execution of the order unexpected changes relating to the applied methods or shifting of the terms are imposed, the customer shall be informed by the TL.
• TL has the right to refuse orders for testing of samples and methods that would disgrace its activity as a testing laboratory.
• Upon request of the client, by the presented test specimen control laboratory sample might be taken. After that it is sealed in the presence of the client, and then it is signed and stamped by the Head of the laboratory and from the client he.
• The client receives a report of the results of the conducted tests.
• The client shall pay in cash or by bank transfer the service performed by TL.
• The customer can visit the laboratory to examine the technical means and the methods for testing. During his visit he is accompanied by the Head of the laboratory.
