Transport of hazardous and biological waste


“HOSVITAL” was registered in early 2008 as a joint-stock company, headquartered in Plovdiv, with main activities: projects and services in the field of environmental protection, treatment and transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and construction of ecological systems for their utilization.

“HOSVITAL” JSC holds permits for the disposal of waste from human medicine, issued by RIEW – Plovdiv:

The personnel consists of qualified specialists who have undergone special training related to the company’s activities (course for drivers of hazardous goods, course for safety consultants for the transport of dangerous goods, quality management training).

Clients of “HOSVITAL” JSC include: University hospitals, clinics, polyclinics, maternity hospitals, dental offices, laboratories and other medical institutions.

“HOSVITAL” JSC specializes in collecting the following hazardous waste:

• from group 18.01 – waste from human healthcare (from university hospitals, clinics, polyclinics, maternity hospitals, dental offices, laboratories and other medical institutions).
• from group 18.02 – waste from veterinary healthcare (from veterinary clinics and offices)
• code 20 01 21* – fluorescent tubes and other waste containing mercury
• code 15 01 10* – packaging containing residues of hazardous substances or contaminated with hazardous substances
• code 15 02 02* – absorbent and filter materials (including oil filters not mentioned elsewhere), wiping cloths and protective clothing contaminated with hazardous substances.
