Decorative Nursery TERRA NOVA is a place where you will find more than 180 types of decorative flowers and plants for your yard, balcony, garden, hotel or restaurant. The center for decorative vegetation offers several extremely impressive shrubs that cannot be found elsewhere.

Garden Center TERRA NOVA is located next to the “Rompetrol” gas station near Vratsa. As mentioned above, the center offers over 180 types of decorative shrubs and trees for outdoor landscaping. The decorative plants are imported from Hungary, Germany, Italy and other European countries and arrive in containers with soil.

This allows planting at any time of the year, without being dependent on the season as with fruit trees, which can be planted only in spring and autumn. “Many people are misled by this belief and miss the opportunity to arrange their gardens year-round,” says the owner of this beautiful place, Evgeni Moskovski. At the moment, “TERRA NOVA” offers exceptionally impressive decorative shrubs that cannot be found anywhere else. Among them is the king of climbing plants, which loves to climb walls and trellises. It comes in variegated, lush forms, as well as in single colors – fiery red, cyclamen and pink.

The center also offers orange tecoma, which forms very beautiful arches. You can also find wisteria in purple, white or pink with white accents. One of the highlights in the assortment of the decorative center are the rhododendrons. These evergreen flowering shrubs come in various shapes and heights – from 50 cm to tall ones reaching nearly two meters. There are also deciduous rhododendrons, better known as azaleas. Rhododendrons, however, do not like alkaline soil, which is typical for our region.

That is why the center offers acidic soil mixtures specially formulated for them. “TERRA NOVA” also offers low flowering shrubs for rock gardens, both coniferous and deciduous. They are recommended for such purposes because they look beautiful next to water features. Standard roses, grafted onto young tree stems, are also a hit at the center – says the owner, Evgeni Moskovski. A rose is grafted onto a wooden stem, forming a large ball of flowers at the top. The assortment of trees in the center is also very rich. You can find the popular holly (ilex), known from Christmas cards – an evergreen tree with red decorative berries. Also interesting are the weeping willows, which grow to human height and form a canopy reaching the ground.

Magnificent are the albizia with its fluffy flowers, the liquidambar with its characteristic autumn colors, and the tulip tree (liriodendron) – decorated by nature with leaves shaped like a lyre. Soon the center will receive a shipment of Japanese cherries and sakura, which bloom abundantly and have red leaves. This month we will also receive traditional summer flowers – petunias, geraniums, begonias, gerberas, monkey flowers, impatiens. Various types of decorative grasses are also expected. Decorative Nursery “TERRA NOVA” sells all kinds of gardening tools and equipment.
