FISHERY 2009 Ltd. – RYAHOVO VILLAGE, RUSE REGION is specialized in the production, catching, transport, and trade of fish: carp, bighead carp, crucian carp, grass carp, pike-perch, catfish, and pike. The company carries out fishing and fish trading from inland and natural water bodies, and in recent years has also specialized in fish farming of various species. The storage facility is located in the village of Ryahovo, Slivo Pole Municipality, Ruse Region, in close proximity to the Danube River and 20 km from the Danube Bridge – Ruse.
The company applies an individual approach to every client, emphasizing accuracy, reliability, and strict adherence to delivery deadlines. Our main clients are large retail chains and hypermarkets such as CBA, METRO, Real, Carrefour — not only in Bulgaria but also in Romania.

In September 2015, the newly built processing plant for fish and fish products opened in Ryahovo village, Slivo Pole Municipality, Ruse Region. The project was funded under the Operational Programme for Fisheries Sector Development 2007–2013. The enterprise was financed under Measure 2.6 “Investments in processing and marketing of fishery and aquaculture products” of the same programme. New freshwater products are expected to enter the market — hot‑smoked bighead carp fillet, cold‑smoked and kaiser‑style bighead carp fillet, hot‑smoked carp, fish meatballs, fish sausages, and marinated freshwater fish.

We offer fish with proven origin and excellent taste qualities. The company’s policy is focused on extensive and/or semi‑intensive fish farming. In extensive fish farming, no industrial methods, machinery, or equipment are used. The fish are not intensively fed with specialized fish feed — they are only periodically supplemented with grain (from cereal and legume crops). No medicinal products are used during rearing. The fish fully utilize the natural biodiversity of phyto‑ and zooplankton in their environment.
The company manages a total of five water bodies in Bulgaria. One of the main activities is fishing from inland and natural water sources.
